The following work was inspired by a journey to Abydos, an ancient temple in Middle Egypt. It is a most mysterious and enchanting place, being in pharonic times the centre of veneration for the cult of Osiris.
In the "Abydos Drawing Series" the compositions are inspired by the delicte bas reliefs to be found in the temple of Abydos.
